@Mañ'O'Green - LIGHT GOTY Week 3 Update. :toke: I'm eliminating one tent (5 plants) from further consideration in the Light contest. I'll pick final contestant from among these 6 here, from top to bottom, left to right: Mephisto ManBearAlienPig, Mephisto Fantasmo Express, Sweet Seeds Black Cream, Sweet Seeds S.A.D., Zamnesia Caramel, and Zamnesia AK-420.

Containers: 3 gal RainScience Grow Bags. I like these better than airpots or fiber pots. They easily provide as much or more air than airpots, but are not as messy by a long shot. And they provide more air than fiber pots. They are now my "go-to" container, except that I still run a few AutoPots each grow -- that's a totally different thing.

Medium: Roots Organics Original; amended with dolomite, azomite, silicium & worm casings; charged up before planting with ReCharge, Mammouth-P and a tiny bit of Roots Excellerator. During planting a tablespoon of Mycos is mixed in & around the planting hole.

Nutrients: primarily from the Greenleaf line-up; Mega crop v1, Sweet candy , Bud Explosion, and Kelp Extract. I also include a cal/mag supplement (currently using one from Advanced Nutrients). Approximately every 7 to 10 days I substitute ReCharge and SLF-100 for the feed program. At this early phase of their growth, the only thing they're getting is a fairly diluted mix of just MegaCrop, Kelp Extract, Sweet Candy and cal/mag.

Light: Amare SolarSpec SE450UVB.

Week 4 Update
Binary Selections Blk Mrrr
Blk Mrrr is doing amazing so far. Pretty much all training is done, LSTing mostly. As for my lights, nothing much changed as I kept her a certain height, until now. Basically still using the 3500k AutoCob and have not raised yet.

Week 4 Update

Day 26
Dutch Passion AutoBlackberry Kush

I topped her at Day 12, and have been training to open the middle and generate more tops. I am happy with the base structure, and think the plant is set up well for the upcoming stretch.

I am planning to use my KIND K300 LED for the entire grow this time, and will add in the ChilLED Logic Puck during flower. The KIND is 212 watts from the wall, and the CHilLED is adjustable up to 100watts. i will plug it in, but start low (25 watts) once true buds appear, and crank that up based on plant reactions. Temps in the cabinet is still a concern.

@Mañ'O'Green Week 4 Update. My girls are just showing sex and the lights have been turned up to about 600 watts and the 720nm initiator LEDs are running for 15 minutes at lights out. I will run the far red until the end of this week when I will turn them off and add the 2 - 48" fluorescent UVA Plus 10000K lamps. They improve the terpene profile.

The nutrients remain at the 70% of week 2 levels. One of the Dark Devil plants is showing what looks like a Phosphorus deficiency, one is showing what looks like Nitrogen toxicity, and the third is perfectly happy - all on the same nutrient mix? This is a perfect example of genetics in action.

Ok Gang the much anticipated software update is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, the site will be down. Do not post updates after noon on Tuesday until the new software is running on Thursday. It would be a good idea to write your post in a word program and save it locally just in case.

@Mañ'O'Green @Ripper

Is it ok that I change my plant? We're not at the 30 day mark and I got a auto flower portal mystery mix seed that is at day 14 or 15. This sweet seed devil cream not going so good and I like to change. Is that ok? I'm not polling in either battle, I'm just filling in a spot.

Thanks!

Fine with me.

Week 4 update
[HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] and [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] have gone into stretch so I've raised the auto cobs to 25 inches.
The 3 autocobs are made by @BigSmo at the cobshop.com and I like them for their low wattage and very low heat signature. Heat was always an issue with the other lights I have used but no longer. The single hang configuration allows me to place them and adjust height at will.

I had an unusual issue with [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG]. I use a worm bed compost from a local farm and after a couple grows I add a tea to re-enforce the Myccos. Some in the middle area of the 3 gallon Airpots and some at the top. Usually 2 tablespoons full at the top, 4 in the column. I guess I overdid it with [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG], miscalculating the result of the extra couple of spoon fulls to empty the cup. The myccos grew so thick at the top that it didn't want to absorb the water. I had to poke holes through it.
I like the Airpots, The bottom is in the form of a grate so I put them in deep mixing bowls. The pots sit on the tapered sides rather than the bottom, leaving a 2-3 inch gap for the run off which draws the roots down through the grates. A bit of hydro bottom feeding. It's all good.

[HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] is still too tight to inspect safely. Rather than risk snapping parts trying to inspect and photo her, I'll wait for some stretch.
