Squidy, I know a guy that has managed to get through life without having made any serious mistakes.
He is an arrogant friggin prick that no-one enjoys being around.
Making mistakes helps us learn, whether it be to pay more attention next time or learning about something we hadn't encountered before (like too dry of growing conditions)
Now you will have more expertise with which to help growers, new & old.
Damn...thanks a lot gtron. That one hit me in at least two of my three hearts.(If you didn't know, Squids have three hearts, I shit you not. One for each lung and then one for the rest of the blood flow. I like to tell my fiance' that I love her as much as a Squid could.
It makes her smile.
Really, though. Not that you other guys didn't, but that really made me feel better. Thanks to JM and Growbee of course too. It means a lot to get back up when shit gets you down.
But hey, check it. I got this humidifier at Wally World a little while ago>
http://www.walmart.com/ip/ReliOn-Cool-Mist-Humidifier/10261753
It's the second most expensive one they had, actually a little more than that online list price of $25. It was more like $30. There was one more expensive but the reservoir was smaller, only ran 12 hours or so, and they were warm air humidifiers which I do not want, I don't need more heat. This one has a 1.5 Gallon reservoir and runs up to 36 hours AND it's a cool mist system, which is cool.
(pun intended) It has a high and low setting that I am sure I can dial in to help me out. Right now I just have it set up in front of the closet door at the tent blowing around the side and then into the intake that's the back flap. Tomorrow I will be sliding the tent over so that I can place the humidifier in the closet beside the tent, I think that will work better and be out of the way too.
Humidity in the tent is at 32% now and teetering lower. Hopefully within a few hours I should be able to tell I guess if it goes up some.
It's Week Five today but no pics sorry again guys and gals. The female DR, Dolly, doesn't look so well. Hasn't had anymore veg growth and just has a few pistils out the top. Quite stunted it seems, the low ph and low humidity is really doing a number on me. I hope she pulls through. Sadly, kinda reminds me of the Critical Mass, Mia. Ugh...
Molly(MI5) is doing ok. All leaves have yellowing and wilted tips now from the low ph and humidity. Still seems to throw pistils out all over, but hasn't had any vertical growth in a while and it's only at 5 weeks, should be getting some more growth. Only has three sets of leaves total, and all alternating. Pretty skinny and short plant, no really bushiness.
A couple of the DD babies have yellowing at the center, almost like before with the bleaching or whatever it was. But my light is 24 inches away from them and has been from the start. I am still getting pretty discouraged about this whole fucking thing guys. I ain't gonna lie about it. I feel helpless and like I don't know what I am doing. I just can't get dialed in...I am about halfway there on Molly though at five weeks.
Not trying to be Debbie Downer guys, sorry.
Charlie, the MI5 male is so top heavy he is leaning over and resting on the side of the box, haha. Weird though, there is just a ton of pollen sac clusters everywhere. Huge ones, they almost look like buds. He is five weeks old and when I tap him to shake it a little to check for pollen, there is nothing, like none at all. Sometimes the little pods just fall off but no clouds of pollen. Some flowers look open, but again, no pollen. Is this normal?
Thanks guys.
