Day 17 (sex shown)

Just a quick unplanned update as a bit has happened in the last couple of days, sex is showing on both with pistils visible on the Orange Alien coming out just below where my dodgy cut was made, Deep Blue C pistils are less developed and cant quite yet catch them on camera but should be clear by Day 21 update.

Have trimmed off 3 fan leaves in Deep Blue C that were growing in towards the center of the plant effectively blocking light to the lowers and now get a nice bowl of light in the center of the plant, so hoping for a bowl of buds in the middle as i pull out some of that lower growth.

Orange Alien is still struggling to recover from my impromptu surgery and even though new growth is coming from the cut site, it is very slow so think i stunted her a bit but is giving the lowers some time to grow out a bit before they get buried and should keep her a nice size for the 1L pot.

Also my new 200W 2700k CFL turned up a few minutes ago and has been tested, so thats panic over now with the flowering light sorted.

Looking good man. I'm guessing the new toy is to make up for the lack of patio time in the winter.

Yep exactly pal lack of more like none lol is getting cold out already, good thing is even with temps down to 0c outside it keeps the backroom in the perfect area for the grow :)

Awesome Spanglish

Sorry to read about her slowing down on you after the cut.
Im sure she will take off very soon and surprise you.
It will be interesting to see the difference in your 200w CFL and the sun that you had in past grows.

Is a bit bigger than the old 150w dual CFL, in a perfect world with enough time and space i would prefer to run 200w-300w of 20w-30w bulbs positioned all around but the single big bulb seem better to save space in a smaller cab.

The old bulb had a few months of use under it now, so just got new bulbs to replace it for optimum brightness just this time went with two bulbs instead of the dual color unit, one with less wattage for veg and another with a bit more for bloom.

Thanks for popping in Grim bro,

Yeah was a bit of a bummer but i cut to low, teaches me to second guess myself as looking back the first cut i made would have been perfect, but had to go take a bit more again.

Dealing with what i am thinking is N tox now as both have developed slight claw, never had this problem before using same nutes, soil and strain, so wondering if the bennies are making nutes more available to the root giving a need to nute less.

Should be a more even coverage of light than the sun as i had to rotate the girls when they are out to get full coverage, compared to them being bathed in it all around in a reflective cab.

Interesting Spanglish.
Its either the bennies like you said or maybe a pheno of this strain that you havent had the pleasure of growing out yet.

Yeah that the thing that has got me leaning more towards the bennies, as with the twin tap, self topping and fat old green leaves seems to be identical to the pheno i grew before, no worries got a action plan in place already that hopefully should sort them out with a feed of AlgaMic (NPK 0.1/0.1/0.1) next and then the same with some CalMg (NPK 1.1/0/0) and see how it goes, if that works will stick to one feed of just AlgaMic and Calmg between the main feed of Grow, AlgaMic and Calmg and play it from there.

Here are a couple of pics of what i suspect to be N tox mainly affecting Deep Blue C but also can see it in one leaf on Orange Alien.

Have started treating for it today as mentioned before by removing the N from there scheduled feed and splitting a litre of 2ml/L AlgaMic 65% - 35% Deep Blue C - Orange Alien. Tomorrows feed for Orange Alien will be between 350ml and 500ml of 2ml/L AlgaMic and CalMg and Deep Blue C nothing as she will still be moist, so will see how they look then.

Any other suggestions rather than N tox are more than welcome as this is only my diagnosis and treatment plan and am always open to another opinion.
