Fast Buds Spanglish grows G14, Northern Express and Rhino Ryder, English y Español

Your girls are looking great man, I see that you got a Mars Tent and Mars 2 400. I like your new style lol. I have a Mars 2 400 and a Mars Reflector 192 in my 5x5x7 Mars tent.. really in my opinion you cannot go wrong with Mars. I have used KIND LED, BlackStars and BlackDog and I still love all Mars products. Those babies will be huge and stinky before you know it.. I will be along for the journey!

Subbed in. I have a G14 seed waiting to be popped.

Enjoy the ride, hopefully will put on a good show. G14 is a vigorous strain for sure, still a bit to early to tell for sure but think she will yield the most of the three, but will have to wait and see.

Best of luck with your beans am sure you wont be dissapointed.

Thanks bro, am still a bit perplexed with the color in some of the leaves, but it dont seem to progressing and they are growing thats for sure, so not letting it bother me to much. Am more than happy with the Mars gear so far, just a bit of a change for me to get used to and get things dialed in before i get the most from it.

Good to have you along for the ride, here is hoping your predictions come true ;) You can check out the live feed sometime between updates if you want to see how they are getting along, posted up some instructions a page or two back.

Day 28
Things still seem to be ticking along nicely as the girls continue to go up and fill out, Northern Express is starting to increase the lead in the height stakes but G14 still has the more substantial frame of the two, Rhino Ryder is a stocky, toothy leaved, multiple headed little Indica bush, that is very different looking to her tent mates and even though the smallest i would say my favorite looking of all three, minus the splash burns on her lower leaves.

All three were hit with a 1.5ml/L AlgaMic foliar spray on days 22 and 23 after seeing what i thought was magnesium deficiency in the last update, they looked to take it well without any ill effects and will give them one last foliar spray today just after lights off, as most likely will be my last chance before they slip into flower and unless unavoidable i wont be spraying a flowering plant when they are packed this tight.

Am starting to think now that the signs of the deficiency were not nutritional but more enviromental, with the extractor not being on enough with poor airflow and RH creeping to high, causing the plants to feed more on the water in the air through their leaves and less through their roots, since running the extractor 24/7, backing the light off a bit and adding a fan to circulate air they started to drink and dry the soil noticeably faster, therefore taking up more nutes, adding extra Top Vulcan might not have been the smartest thing to do in this case as most likely there was enough already in the mix, now the soil seems a little hot with slight tip burn showing on some of the newer growth, they are still growing good though so am gonna keep fingers crossed and hope they ride it out as their nutritional needs increase, one thing for sure is i wont be needing any extra CalMg for the rest of this grow lol.

As per the manufacturer's guidelines 15ml of Mealfrass was top dressed into all three girls, this is supposed to be added every 4 weeks through the grow, so as these are faster finishing autos will most likely be the last they get for the grow, depending on how things go i most likely will give a couple of feeds with BAC Organic PK Boost and Bio Bizz Bloom during flower, but till then will just be water.

The Blumat test is going ok, one XL sized cone is great for early veg but not really enough as they drink hard through the stretch and come into flower, as the soil was starting to get a bit dry. After doing a bit of reading on these it looks like the maximum one cone can supply is between 250ml-300ml per day, and that is if the reservoir water level is above the height of the top cap of the cone, once it is level to the top cap they will supply about 125ml-150ml per day and once it drops below the cap of the cone only about 65ml-70ml per day, am still semi confident that by watering the soil to reasonable runoff the day before i leave and using two XL cones per pot, with the bottom of the reservoir raised to the level of the cap of the cone so water supply don't slow as the level drops they should stay reasonably moist till i get back.

;) bodged it together for 0€ but seems to be holding up ok except for the occasional failure to reconnect automatically if the wifi signal drops, managed to get around this using the Automate app for Android to switch wifi off and then on again every 1/2 hour, which fingers crossed so far has kept it online autonomously for over a week so looks like will be be keeping a eye on the girls while away.

Thanks for the kind words, and so far so good except for slightly hot soil and some tip burn from the overdose of Top Vulcan, and NE and her odd coloured looking leaves, but they are drinking and getting bigger so hoping for the best, just not overly confident with all the changes till i manage to get a grow with it under my belt.

Peace pal and happy growing, thanks for dropping in ;)

:pop: All caught up, looking great in there.
