Was your question will alcohol extraction be more efficient than pressing rosin? I put my press together for $310.00 so it's not that much, cheaper than source turbo.
Sorry, I saw nothing there that would increase yield. Sounded like a commercial more than actual information. I think a good pre press is more impactful tool/technique. At the end of the day you can stand on your left foot with your fingers crossed holding your rabbit's foot... a good yield will mostly come from your material. Good in, good out and vise versa. I dont use filter bags so maybe they help when using them. That's the reason I don't use them, they hurt your yield.

You are already losing a lot without using bags. I press a couple of pounds per week and bags make all the difference. I get a minimum of 22% to 30% return. Pressing just straight flower I bet you are on a good day 15%. Bags are the only way to go and bottle tech is king for small amounts.

Yes I was wondering if the source turbo is more versatile and more efficient. i can get one on sale for about the same price as a good press already built. I wonder if you soak the compressed rosin bags in alcohol and run it though the source turbo how much you would reclaim. Eep off you saved your bags. Some where I read some one did this and had a few grams of resin after.

I have a Source Turbo. What it does is recaptures the Everclear so it can be used again. The "cup" only hold 300ML of liquid so that is the limit you can put into the Source. It does the same thing as air drying your extracted THC but you captures "95%" of the everclear to use again.
You extract your THC and then evaporate the everclear with the Source Turbo
