Alright @atrain and anyone else first scrog thing first. Wait a seemingly endless amount of time for your plants to reach the scrog. I like to tuck big fan leaves down and away from lower branches. That way it gets them into the light zone.
Once the top is through the screen, 1-2 inches, gently tuck it under to whatever square, hole, whatever, in the directiin you want the main to go. Make sure it stay bent a bit. Hormones in the top, that tell it its the top scream... OH SHIT, we lost the top. This causes the sides to race to be the new top. Everytime a "top" reaches through the screen do the same thing. Tuck here tuck there keeping in mind the direction yiu want the branches to go.
At this point I slowly start to clean up the under growth. Branches that aren't going to make and the like. Only a few cuttings here an there. Give her a few days and do it again, until you have no sucker buds/branches that are just going to steal nutes and energy from our top buds.
This also helps keep good air flow to the under side of the future buds.
I leave all fan leaves that I can. Imo it is a waste to cut them out. They are the food stires for later on.

Ummm. Basically, that is the heighth I have found works best to be able to get down under there mildly comfortably. And still be able to use your hands. 10in would work, but tight fit!. That's what she said) Who knew 2in could mean so much (that s what she said!!!) Lmao.
