Wzup, Roark?! I see you're up to your usual green thumbery! I'm about to try my hand at hydro, ebb and flow to be exact, so I was hoping I could leach some knowledge from you? Either way, I'm subbed in an ain't leaving! :pop:

Hel yeah bandit!!!!!
Sooo glad to have you back bro. It was a long summer. Hope you have landed well!
Here to help bro!

I'm good, bro! Landed well, I have, indeed! Got a new house, finally all moved in, and the family is just about settled in. Time to get back to the grow game. I have 8 regular beans germinating right now; 4 albino dragons and 4 black Dragon x GHD. Not sure what the GHD is all about, but I bet it's gonna smoke good!

I'm planning to eventually set up a 3'x3' flood table with a 40 gallon reservoir. I haven't decided on the medium yet, but it will probably either be coir or growstones. Haven't decided yet, but I'm leaning towards the stones because from my understanding, they will allow for more daily feedings.

Well, coco takes well to many feedings. Stone mediums can be a hassle, to say the least, to clean an what not after a grow. Trust me I know!! Coco can be reused or, I prefer, put into your garden bed. What kinda light you going to use? may also recommend, a smaller rez. I have a 50 and. 45. They take up a shit load of space and if your doing a rez change often, 7-10 days, you'll dump out lots of cash. 20-25 gl would have been better for me. I dont even fill my rez's up to full anymore. Like half. I hope this helpful.

Do you have to fight pH problems when dealing with coir? How do you keep the pots from floating when you flood the table? I plan on trying a traditional SOG, so I thought a 40 gal res would be best because I'll have multiple plants. As for the light, I was planning on picking up one of the new Mars Epistar panels, but then I saw the price. End of that story. I'm thinking king about the Mars reflector light, but regardless of what I go with, it will be LED. Nothing is in stone right now because I'm still in the planning stage. As for right now, though, all 8 of my beans have popped, an they'll most likely hit the dirt tomorrow! It feels good to be back up in AFN, and it feels good to be getting dirt up under my nails again
