Dry Weight
Alright everyone... I didn't hit the 1 gram per wattt mark but I came close... better luck next time right?
All in all I got 22.64 grams of primo bud from this little Sour 60 under a 28W light. That comes out to
0.81 grams per watt.
Some things I could have done to improve my yield: monitor the plant regularly, feed it nutes based on the recommendations on the package, use CO2 enrichment, control ambient temp, control humidity, control PH and TDS, put mylar on the wall or the plant in a grow tent, used LST or SCROG methods, used aero buckets, used oxygenated and/or temp-controlled water, etc...
The point I'm trying to make is that for doing almost nothing but sticking a plant in a tiny auto-water pot and putting a light over it, .81 grams per watt is not too shabby. This light could have easily done a far higher yield if I would have put some effort into it, so that's what I'm doing on the next round: going for max yield with the 21X-PRO!
Here is what will change: temps will be controlled between 80-85F, humidity around 60-70%, I'll use an aero bucket with oxygenation pump and the nutes will be added at proper (measured) levels. I will run a screen to equalize the canopy, which will be stashed inside an upside-down mylar lined bucket. The bucket will have a small fan on a thermostat to make sure temps remain where they need be. Lastly I'll be throwing CO2 enrichment into the mix. Based on what Seymour Buds has done, I think I'm going to use Think Different for this grow. Now I just need to go buy some things from Lowe's and the local hydro store to get it started!
