Ok guys I have never done any of this before , so some noob questions ,
1-- can you cross any strain with another
2-- what % of the seeds that are created are female
3-- at what stage do you pollinate
4-- best way to save pollen
There that will do for a start , I am very interested in crossing , so any advice would be great .

Thank you Hecno

1.Yes all cannabis strains are of the same genus and species so they freely interbreed wether sativa, indica or rudi

2.it depends on a lot of factors but will generally be in the ballpark of 50/50 unless you have a nice set of parents that throw better ratios like 20/80 but ive never seen much better than that. of course if you femenize a female of 1 strain and cross to a female of another they will all be female ;)

3.you can pollinate as soon as you see pistils (ive even pollinated pre-flowers) but for max yield wait about 4-5 weeks when the plant is covered in pistils but still has enough time to let the seeds ripen and develop for about 5 more weeks and you should get a ton of healthy viable seeds.

4.hard, dark, resealable container in the fridge, cut with flour.

if you would like any more info im always happy to help a fellow grower/breeder :)
