Solve light stress by tuning down light schedule?

I like the science stuff! So thanks. My fan sucks, by the way. It doesn't swing. Still, they're allright.

...yup, that looks a lot like some mild light burn,... the line can be pretty thin sometimes, and you were right on the edge of fry-city,.. proximity intensity is harder to assess with your eyes too, plus some strains have their variables in tolerance as well,... what's happening is the chlorophyll molecule is getting broken down by the sheer intensity, but it look different from say, HID light because heat is less a part of the equation,...
..no doubt, they took the supercropping like champs, and you did a fine job on it as well- :d5:.... yeah, I see a little nute burn on the tips,... And yes, sometimes heavy feeding and any combination of light/heat/low RH/ high temp/overly strong air movement can cause a sort of water/transpiration stress... if the plant is combating these, and really having to move a lot of water up and through the leaves to cool, some nutes will by design, get taken along with it,.. sometimes it overwhelms what the plant can use and deal with, starting some tip and edge burning,.. or worse, if it gets too harsh, the stomata will close up, to prevent catastrophic water loss, and leaves may really fry them, and other can get a sort of localized temporary nute defc.'s because the flow from roots up has been radically slowed,...

Well thanks again, Waira! Great to know how this happens. It's how my brain works: needs to know how and why before I can really work with it.
