Not that I wanted to cut bud sites to shape a plant, but my current grow I had to cut some. My Trident Special grew in to the ceiling of my tent, folded over, into the light, then took over the light and shaded the other plants. Had to cut like a 5-6 inches off. My tent is a standing floor closet with a bottoms shelf. Grow space is 2ftx3ftx4 1/2ft. After cut, trident Special was about 4 inches away from the light, now some of the branches is over the light again, and close to the ceiling again, lol.

Can be done, but do you need to, is the question.

I have the same issue, right into the lights. I tried bending for several days, and she just kept popping back up, finally I broke it, and supercropped her over and tied it where I wanted it. The lower growth is now getting into the light. LOL. I may be chopping some off too.

Now I see a few people referring to this as an competition !! I don't believe that this was intended as a competition but as a friendly get together to compare notes on various methods of growing in a solo cup and killing some time over the winter . When you compete there are winners and losers and I don't believe for one minute there are any loser's on AFN . It's no big deal and I'm not being critical and you can refer to it as a competition if you wish who am I to judge . Personally I would prefer it to be referred to as Winter Party a long winter party .

So true @1939bear ... in order to have a "competition" one needs an adversary , Iam not competing to beat anyone , well maybe except @Ash-a-Ton but I think his wife has got that covered . I just want to see if I can do it ..the only adversary to me in this is the Solo Cup ...
