Has anyone tried killing bud sites to shape and direct a plant?
I'm slightly stoned *ehem* medicated, but considering shaving off bud site to focus growth.

Not that I wanted to cut bud sites to shape a plant, but my current grow I had to cut some. My Trident Special grew in to the ceiling of my tent, folded over, into the light, then took over the light and shaded the other plants. Had to cut like a 5-6 inches off. My tent is a standing floor closet with a bottoms shelf. Grow space is 2ftx3ftx4 1/2ft. After cut, trident Special was about 4 inches away from the light, now some of the branches is over the light again, and close to the ceiling again, lol.

Can be done, but do you need to, is the question.

Now I see a few people referring to this as an competition !! I don't believe that this was intended as a competition but as a friendly get together to compare notes on various methods of growing in a solo cup and killing some time over the winter . When you compete there are winners and losers and I don't believe for one minute there are any loser's on AFN . It's no big deal and I'm not being critical and you can refer to it as a competition if you wish who am I to judge . Personally I would prefer it to be referred to as Winter Party a long winter party .

I do this all the time.. Its called lollipopping.. Where you remove some, any or all of the bud sites that are not getting direct light or that are low on the branches. The plant will then focus its energy on only the bud sites that are left... And you wont have any "fluff" come harvest.. Just fat nugs.

Standard size
Up to 18oz.
Root mass MUST be inside 1cup with plant.
Any medium of choice.
Autoflowers only.
Weekly updates preferred biweekly mandatory.
Final plant selected by feb 14th.
Put yer name on your cup
And a final pic must contain full plant/cup with a note
