My plant is looking better but growth is slow and color could be darker. I found a hydro shop about 70 miles away with root organics in stock. Should I try to make a trip down there today and transplant? I have a errand to run but I will post a pic from today when I get back

Hmmm 70 miles seems like a lot to go for soil. Do you have a way of testing the pH because either the soil is too hot, or the pH is high. Seems like it would be closer hopefully to get some potting mix at a hardware store? You will need a pH test pen or a accurate 8 meter for soil if you are going to continue growing anyway, I would be more worried about that.

I started mine in straight Roots organic and it seems to be doing okay. I haven't grown in soil in years and I was looking for the most mild soil I could find in my local Hydro shop. Unfortunately had to buy a big bag of it.

Most guys will measure The pH of their water going in when they're dealing with soil. That's what I intend to start doing with mine here the next time I water. There is also one soil probe meter that is recommended on this forum. My memory is escapes me as to what others are using I'm sure someone will chime in.

Sounds like you got it right calling those white tip light burn. I thought you might possibly be in cocoa and not feeding yet because they will look the same way.

Stunted plants might be what it takes to go the whole distance, it's been long enough since I watered soil I think I got a little bit over watering in mind so they're going to be stunted. At least in the beginning.

Where I'm growing

I live in a small town so local options are limited. I'm going to google and see if I can find somewhere a little closer to get roots. That and gbd soil amendment was what I was originally planning to use. If I'm going to transplant it would be best to do it now while I don't have much of a root system to damage. I think I'm going to get soil today and read about what would be a good test pen to get on amazon. Less stuff to guess about when I have problems. Any suggestions on using gbd super soil in a solo cup?
