Life has kept me busy the last few days. I had a little rep that I didn't feel like I deserved for lurking so I gave it to people who gave me some helpful answers. @hecno thank you very much for my first rep as a active member. @Prophetiko if you thought that story was funny take a look at my poor plant. You can laugh at my plants all you want. I'm going to make a journal so I can come back later to laugh at myself and see how far I have come as a grower. I'm posting a pic of Pita at day 6, I have almost killed her twice so far and I'm sure she hates me already. I also have a pic of Anita and Iwanna fixing to go in soil. @bushmasterar15 here's my pics.

Haha! As long as I'm laughing WITH you!! Two words you will get very familar with, as you start popping more seeds... "ugly duckling"! The story is real! Ask anyone around here that decided to keep a funky looking seedling or one with a rough start, and I bet most will say that plant ended up being the best one of the grow! Its a "weed".. Its pretty resilient! A bumpy start to life is nothing! Your plant will be fine! Hell, it might even win!

I saw all the pretty plants in this thread and I was embarrassed to post my pics. Then I thought about it and everybody was a rookie once. It don't bother me in the least now. The solo cup grow may not have been the wisest place for my first grow but I'm glad I decided to do it. I think I'm going to stick it in a pc case just to give yall a chance. LOL If I finish this with a live plant and 10g from it and the knowledge I will gain I will consider myself a winner.

What's your growing medium? @drjkl1

Where I'm growing

good question @jingo , it looks like pH is high to me. She will be stunted, and take 90 days if she survives it.

@drjkl1 this is the perfect spot for your first grow. There are a lot of very experinced kind folks in here. jingo took notice for example. We can help.

Whaaa my solo cups are going in the toilet !! Nitrogen overload and I think the culprit may be Happy Frog quick start . I added it to my coco and it looks like it backfired . It's the only thing I added . :nono:

I had put off ordering root organics so I wouldn't do something stupid and start plants in my cab where it would be too cold. I did something stupid anyway and started some in bedroom where they will be warm and used scotts hyponix soil because it was avialable locally. I have 3 plants the 1 that is still alive I mean looks the best will stay in the solo cup and the other 2 will be transplanted into larger pots in root organics and gbd super soil. I put about 1/10 of a teaspoon of gbd in the bottom 1/3 of the soil on that 1 and about the same amount split between the other 2. The burnt leave tips are from way too much light. ph may be high also. How would I check it buy a meter? Add lime if it is too high? Thanks for the help

My plant is looking better but growth is slow and color could be darker. I found a hydro shop about 70 miles away with root organics in stock. Should I try to make a trip down there today and transplant? I have a errand to run but I will post a pic from today when I get back
