I noticed a few years ago (mind you I run T5's) that I actually got less stretch with my lights hung higher. It seems counter-intuitive, but it's proven for me to be the rule rather than the exception My guess was that less light energy was causing them to develop more leaf and root mass instead of height.

Thats why i backed out of the solo contest...I cant dedicate 3-4 waters daily. Absolute dedication to those able to finish!!
