New Grower Soil and pots..

Living in the u.k i have access to these soils..

Canna terra pro + mix
Canna terra coco pro + mix
Bio Bizz light mix
Bio bizz all mix
Plagron light mix

Which of these would be best suited to autoflowers?

Also should i go with airpots 15L should do it, or normal pots?

Iv used bio bizz light mix for seeds and potted up into bio bizz all mix,it's decent stuff and holds its ph really well to mate. I also use airpots,there the business and 15L is plenty big enough to grow most autos in,just not the super autos like chaze,25L pots is recommened for those :smokebuds:

Hey there scat cat. Let's have us a look see.

That Canna terra pro mix sounds good, but too hot for seedlings with worm castings and high Nitrogen. So it could be transplanted into later after the first couple weeks.

The coco I believe is the same thing, just coco coir instead of peat moss.

I'd say the same thing about the Bio All- mix as I did with the CT promix above.

Either of those Light mixes, especially the plagron, sound great for seedlings and cuttings, then you can transplant into any of the others. I don't recommend using coco coir when you're still learning. I don't have personal experience, but this is what I've gathered.

Hi mate cheers for the reply, well this b&q stuff i use at the moment is perfect for seedlings , it's just when i get to weeks 5-6 that my fan leaves are hard to maintain..

if i just went with the all mix and transplant out of the B&Q stuff into there say at 2-3 weeks , would that work?

I am used to using bigger pots, 6 + gallons, but i hear with the airpots you can acheive the same if not better with smaller the size...

Thanks man, yeh i think the airpots are a go.

i did read that airpots are more suited to coco mediums so thought i would check it out..

I have only used plagron light mix from seeds to harvest,extra added perlite and its good and airy. This medium allowes me to have full control on nutes ofcourse beacause i regulate the dosage.

That will work fine mate,the nutes in the all mix will last between 2/3 weeks.and your correct with the airpots mate iv never used over a 6L and iv grown 2 and 3 foot plants,so yr 15L will be plentyfull :smokebuds:

After lookin through your grows dude i think your right! haha top job on all of them!!!

i'm only gonna do 2 under a 250w MH/HPS, in my DR 90 tent ( 90 x 90 x 120cm) what size would you recommend mate , again thanks for your help

Id say a 10L would be sound mate,but you could try a 10 and a 15 and see if the extra size benifits the strain yr growing.one thing to consider is airpots are quite tall and you only got 4ft headroom,if I remember correct my 6L are around 25-30cm tall.:smokebuds:

thanks for the heads up mate think i will try the 10's as that is pretty tall , hoping to grow bushy plants rather than tall ones, the pinapple strain you did was awesome if i can get anywhere near that i'm laughing
