I started with 3 gal plastic pots had very similar phenos of Nirvana Blue Mystic and Bubblelicious and they got about 32". The first Blue Mystic I put in a 3gal smart pot out grew the tent 44" which caused some issues that will effect yield, but the plant wanted to grow bigger. So I think I like the smart pot but I would go smaller. Also the smart pots tend to be wide and short so by starting a tier in a cup it gives the tap root a couple more inches.
