Hello all, I grow in a 5 ft tall, and 2x3 ft tent. I have 2 plants in it right now. I grow hydroponically in DWC, and use a viparspectra 450 and a mars 300 LED setup. The water is at 65-70 degree F, Ph 5.9, and flower nutes PPM at 800.

This is just my second grow. The first grow (FreezeBerry) was advertised a shorter variety, and she about hit the lights all the way to the top of the tent where they may not cool as well. This Amnesia plant is VERY vigorous at the end of vegative state, and I am afraid she will stretch even higher than than the FB did.

My question are about techniques to manage that, I have already done a good bit of LST, and she has completely filled all available real estate already. So what else is there beside pruning?

I don't want to cut of tops (there are lots) My battery is dead, here's a pic from a few days ago after a foliar feed. I have since pruned out low branches and some fan leaves, and she is putting on an inch a day it seems like.

with a photoperiod plant you just initiate flower when half your space is gone, @FullDuplex wrote about flower trigger being possibly running out of soil root space. But in hydro in my 15 gallon tank, that is not going to happen.

On one of my plants I just tied the top down to the side of the pot and kept it parallel almost the whole grow. Definitely kept it shorter than the other. @budelee has a whole thread on training. In there he talked about circling which is just tying the main branch down around the edge of the pot. I don't know if you would be able to rig that up with your set up though. Bending the plant over definately made a difference though probably ended 8-12 inches shorter than the other plants.

Woot woot...check out the link in my sig.. My thread highlights big plants in small spaces/ vertical height control... At this point supercropping would be a good option, she will get wider but its an option.. Thanks for the mention @AJrexxx

thanks guys, I didn't see that thread in the plethera of information around here! I am not the most savvy searcher. I shall check it out.
