Greetings!

Well, as I mentioned earlier, I'm a newbie to growing and I'm already in love. This is what I'm working with so far, feel free to comment and criticize. I'm all about advice and suggestions!

Nirvana NL Auto Fem
FF soil and nutrient trio (following provided feeding schedule)
2x Hydrofarm T5 lights (6400K on 24/7 so far)
Cheap fan for circulation
Redneck-engineered reflector panels (windshield sun reflectors/plywood)

So, 2 out of 3 seeds germinated about a week apart. I fucked up early on and fed both plants the same nute dose on the same day and decided to continue as such. It's obvious which plant is older, but I haven't noticed anything that would make me think that pushing one plant up a week on nutes has harmed anything. I just started the week 6 feeding schedule yesterday for both. As far as I can tell, I have two healthy girls growing away. One issue I currently have is the odor. The location doesn't see many visitors, and most are open-minded and trustworthy, and some carefully placed ona gel has worked so far, but I'd still like to know that the odor is under control and not going to take over the house when these flowers really start to bloom. Another question I have is regarding the bulbs and light schedule. Should I have already switched my bulb temps, or should I soon? Do I continue on 24/7 light for the duration of the grow/bloom?

And a question I'm sure has been asked before on these threads, but honestly, it's been a long day and I don't feel like searching... Can you force autos back to veg and trigger a second bloom or is there no hope for multiple harvests?

Thanks a ton guys! Glad to be here.

P

Also, I have done some light pruning on the lower, shaded areas of both plants, but no fan leaves. Any pruning tips moving forward?

Advice?

Trying to bump this thread...

These girls just entered week 7 and have reached the maximum width that I can allow, and they're quickly approaching the height cutoff as well. They're also getting bushy and more of the lower sections are becoming shaded. All this growth is impressive, but I need it to stop! Or at least slow the hell down... Is it too late for effective pruning and training?

I'm also still on the higher K bulbs 24/7 and haven't switched yet. Can anyone tell me how late is too late? I need all the advice I can get?

Thanks friends.

So according to Nirvana, these take 7-9 weeks to flower (sneaky bastards didn't do the usual germination to harvest time), and I'd assume they started to flower something around week 2 or 3. That makes these probably 9-12 week plants, which is pretty much standard fare these days for autos. Considering that and your bud formation so far, I'd estimate that your stretch has to be nearly done by now, and they'll only put on another few inches. That said, it's never too late for some LST, however I'd avoid trimming/pruning at all costs, not just because you're in flower, but with autos in general (there is no vegetative stage during which you can wait for the plant to repair itself). As for the light, you can switch over to your warmer spectrum if you'd like, though if you're really worried about any additional stretch that might come with the switch, I'd put it off until you really see growth slow and the plant starts packing on more buds.

Whatever the case, you have some seriously beautiful plants there that should treat you well come harvest time. Cheers!

Thanks man! I'm quite proud of them, myself. I'll resist the urge to trim and do some training if necessary. Appreciate the advice!
