Hello everyone, I am ready for a new journal and want to share my Sour Stomper grow. I have 4 Sour Stompers in Solo cups, about a week old. One is slower out of the gate and one is slightly mutated initially. However, I am sure they will both do just fine. I have them in Coco and they are being fed Mega Crop nutes.
So in 2 days I plan on transplanting them into 2 Gal pots, with an Airdomes in the bottom of each. I will also be using a 70/30 blend of Coco/Hydroton this grow. I will be using drip stakes, pump, and timer to feed 4-6x per day. Since I am adding Hydroton, I will aim for a little more runoff than usual. The Airdomes will dry things out faster than usual as well. But that is the point. Airdomes speed up root growth, and the plants need more frequent waterings. I have found that using Airdomes induce flowering faster than without, however I actually prefer to turn them off near the end. The last couple of weeks the plants focus on finishing and Air is not needed during flush.
The plants will be in a 4x4 tent with 5 Cobs @ 55w each. I normally would put 6 Sour Stomper plants in 1 gal pots in that space. I want to train these 4 and use 2 Gal pots. I know how Sour Stompers grow, they should do well with some training in that space. I am excited for this one!
I have 4 Sour Stompers week 3 in 1 Gal pots too. I know the ones with Drip Stakes and Airdomes are going to be larger, and will yield more. I will add pics of everything Friday (2 days), my Hydroton is arriving and I will transplant/set up my drip stakes. That will be day 9/10. Give me about 8 more weeks and we will see how these girls did! Peace, slow
