Slight leaf curl

Looks good to me, this leaf curl IMO doesn't stunt a plant, as I have had 100's explode with growth with this condition in various degrees.

Cool, thanks. I've been slowly lowering my lights each day and watching the plants. I don't want to keep it too high and lose growth potential, but I also don't want to push it too hard if it's going to make the curl worse.

I may try topping after the 5th node either today or tomorrow though.

Well, I’m not sure what else to say. I am on Day 37 and this leaf curl has been continuous with not much change throughout the entire Grow so far. I’ve been pretty consistent in my environment with 24/7 light and 24C/50-60%RH. The lights have been 18-24” from the tops. I have good air movement with fans inside the tent too.

It doesn’t seem like it’s affecting growth but maybe it is?

Here’s a couple update pictures to show the curl.

try dropping the light sched' to 20/4,.... more is not better, including light! I see plenty of 24/0 grows, and some do OK, others don't... This has been hashed out quite a bit here, and IMHO generally there are very rapidly diminishing returns for most people between these, and I see more and more problems with 24/0 than ever,... some plants just don't like it, even if they technically can take it,....

Thanks @Waira for the advice.

I just switched to 20/4 yesterday. My plan was to go 24/0 for veg and then go to 20/4 after flowering started. The Dark Devil I also have in the tent has already started flowering for a week so I decided it was time.

This is my first time with this light schedule and have only used 18/6 and 20/4 prior. Other than the curl it has been going well, but I’m sure you’re right about diminishing returns. Though my tent does get a bit on the cold side when the lights are off ~18C

We’ll see how things progress over the next week

Hey what ever happened to the leaf curl? I'm on my first grow, using cxb3590's and all of my plants are slowly being affected. It's weird though cause I the leaves are still healthy and growth hasn't slowed down the least.

Slight leaf curl or edges turned up usually indicate light stress. Too much- too long -too close.

Any chance you or anyone else that knows when it's a good time to start increasing light intensity? After week 2 or 3?

I run my qb at 90% all the time. I start my seedlings at 30 inches or so let them grow into them. If i think they can take more i raise the pots. Check a few hours later for curl. If very slight ridge curl i let them be usually they adjust.
Only way to know is increase and observe.

Hey @HustleMids , it never really went away but didn't slow it down too much. Actually it ended up being my best grow ever with a dry weight of 208g. It did get worse but that was because it kept growing up and within inches of my light. I ended up having to supercrop as well as buy a quantum board so I could have as much clearance and not scorch the top of the plant. There still were curled leaves on top of deficiencies but it worked out in the end.
