Yep duplicates and lag but seems ok now? Gremlins................Nope, not me. Haven't seen anything out of the norm anyway. Getting duplicate posts or lag?

Cool! about the upgrades. There's also an AWESOME blogging system for the new version of Xenforo that I think is going to make doing grow journals on here super kick ass.
@Mañ'O'Green i get them too and sadly like @Son of Hobbes said they are random. He also basically described it the best anyone could. It’s when 2 or more data entries are fighting for the same resource. Chances are you made a post or update the same time someone else did that called a resource in the db. Both are unable to process the data at the same time, thus you get a lag and or duplicate post after the lag. It’s a result of it trying to process a function and then having to “pause” that function until it’s resources are free.Actually just checked the logs and there was only one error recorded today, about 18 minutes ago... generated by... you of all people (which explains your slow down.) It was a deadlock (basically when two processes are vying for the same resource and those processes are waiting for each other to finish their request in the SQL database (I like to think of it like two extremely polite people offering to let the other go through a doorway, while the other INSISTS the other person goes first.) Let me tag in @FullDuplex to see if he'd have any ideas as well. Deadlocks are nothing new to us, but they are intermittent just curious if we can eliminate them entirely.
We had a long conversation this week about upgrading to the newest version of Xenforo as well (that will be a 2019 thing and the plan is to build it out on a separate box until we're satisfied with it,) but that WILL be in the works and quite honestly, I think will fix a few lingering problems (we're starting to see less and less support on some popular add-on's we use, which is a real boner when something breaks.) The good news is, it's still Xenforo, so I hope the changes will be subtle enough people go "oh, this looks pretty close to the same ol'."
Um, what happen to my journals? I had them in my sig. And they are not there anymore. My 2nd and 3rd grow journals.
