New Grower Site Security

This has been on my mind for a while figured I put it out there. My grow journal is getting a lot of hits which is pretty sweet, makes me feel like I'm doing my part for this community, but it's starting to make me a little nervous. I mean rule number one is out the window. I'm not web savvy enough for floating ip's and the like. Obviously I'm not using my personal email with this site or a photo host. What's the real likelihood for legal repercussions as a result of detailing our activity here? For those who grow in a place where it is illegal, not saying I am but that's our biggest concern as growers.

I have also pondered the same question. I optimistically believe if you are only growing a small amount for personal use, then you will attract less unwanted attention. Seems like law enforcement would more likely use resources to bust breeders/large scale grow ops and leave us little guys alone. At least that's what I'm hoping. I also regret writing my congressman so many times arguing for the legalization of medicinal marijuana in my state, this may have raised some red flags lol.

Basically just be smart about sharing personal info and things should be fine.

your not the only one that worries about about this i was doing a grow log then my spidey sence was tingling lol no i kinda got that feeling i should stop so i did. whether its leagal or not is not the issue as far as state laws its the federal law that trumps all, so instead of poking the bear (the bear being the feds) i dont think ill post anymore growlogs or atleast ones with pics. just my on the subjuect.

It's sad that we live in such an over-regulated and capitalist era. Maybe one day it will be legal to grow a plant that was here before modern laws.

i dont usually ponder such, i've made my choice. sometimes tho it hits me hard, not going to say what all i got going but i will tell you i keep it under 99 plants. so my wife has a name for it PMS parinoid maraijuana syndrome ...hehe its only natural to get those feeling do something that can cause you to loose so much.

wow 99 plants i was feeling bad upping my plants to 20 for my breeding project

no breeding going on just yet. 2 of my grows are for patients, they got me the seed they wanted grown, and in order to keep it going i got clone mama's to supply fresh cuttings.
