:toke:- it's fine 2-3x/week, as long as there's a fairly steady modest level around for consistent uptake. It does several beneficial things, lesser known is it's facilitation role in the uptake of other nutrients...
Higher end formulations should have it a few different forms; cheaper isn't really better here! Currently I'm using TPS brand Si Gold, nicely priced for this formulation- :thumbsup:...been very happy with it!

When using Si supp's, they should go in first and be well mixed in to avoid any funny bizz cross reactions with other nute components...similar deal with Ca-Mg...

....it's excellent as a foliar treat too, along with some kelp and fulvic acid (not humic, big difference-- literally; it's a molecule size thing?...)
