I messed up and switched my MH light to a HPS and I didn't move the light up high enough to compensate for the extra lumens. This is 31 days old from sprout and the strain is skyrone stomper illuminauto, the other one next to it, bubbly blues, isn;t taking it nearly as bad but it wasnt as directly under the light. Result is a fried droopy ugly plant with bleached leaves on the top. I don't even want to keep going with these plant if it's going to stunt bud development... i have enough bunk ass weed from my outdoor crop and I want my own dank MEDICINE
should i just say fuck it and start germing more seeds? its hard to see in the pic but the top leaves got a little bit of yellow, and a LOT of droopin. Droopers can raise back up and the yellow can grow out, if I don't fuck up some more, right?

And here is what they looked like a few days ago before I put the HPS on them

I'm just guessing but I think you will be alright. I don't have much experience, and have never done this before but if I had to guess they will recover. I don't believe it would change the end result by much. I'm sure the bud will still be great!

What wattage was your light and how far was it away? I'm curious because I am going to change my light bulb later today. Also, what type of reflector do you use?

I'm dumb as shit. Seen the cooltube and asked anyways. Fuck.

What I see is a good shade of green in many of those leaves, so I would suggest that you consider letting it go the end. Auto's are very tough and can handle a lot of curve balls. They look mostly over watered or under watered, so get a handle on that aspect. I'm not seeing the kind of clawing that I normally receive from heat stress.

It's a 600 watt HPS from Apollo Horticulture and it was about 16 inches from the top of my plants when I started having this problem. The plants handled that distance perfectly with the Metal Halide bulb but when I switched the light was just too intense. I didn't realize how much more lumens an HPS puts out than an MH!

Yeah I would still continue if it was me. And like AW said it could be a water issue

They look a tad bit better today but I've had it off to the side so it's not getting much light. My bubbly blues however is doing fantastic.

Do not fret, there is nothing wrong with either plant IMO and they both look healthy and happy. Keep up the good work

Looking way better today! They're drying out from the watering too - so watering could have been a part of it.. but I definitely burned the leaves too because I see little brown spots on one leaf
