It’s a candy cane plant from crop king seeds. At day 45. She’s about 18 inches tall but bushy. This is my first AutoFlower grow and I’m wondering if I should take off a few more fan leaves. (I’ve already taken off a lot of the lower ones)

Also, sorry if this is in the wrong place (still new to the whole forum thing)

Honestly I tuck before defole. Hate to take good functioning fans off unless no other choice! Looks like you've got a few sites that could be exposed by a quick tuck or ponytailing.

Nice frosty pics!

I never pull a fan leaf unless it's dieing. They are collecting energy and moving it to other parts of the plant.

Last grow I removed whole box of leaves. Plants don't mind at all.
Remove them and open buds to get more light.

hey buddy you’ll never get a straight answer on that question unfortunately. best advice i can give is to take a few off at a time and build your way up. see how the plant reacts as each strain handles it differently. avoid taking more than one leaf per node as this can restrict the node spacing if you do it during a stretch. but other than that just open her up. i take up to 30% off every week and its never done me any harm (well except once when i was drunk but thats an exception lol)
as someone said though, tucking and pony tailing will be less stressful for the plant. i like to stress em out though, it works for me but everyone has their own methods.
