Mephisto Genetics Seymourbud's Soapbox

Had some time this morning, and I took some pictures of my Strawberry Nuggets fattening up and putting on her crystal covered robe. If she continues like this until finish, which is still 3 weeks from today (Halloween time), she is really going to be a one heck of specimen. I don't think she will be a extra-heavy yielder, but I do think she is going to be a respectable 2 ounce plant in a 3 gallon airpot. Lots of quality meds for the start of the Christmas season. Here are the shots from this morning...

Beautiful SN, think I can smell her from here!! Definitely my favorite smelling weed these days. The green pheno is sooo much more strawberry smelling than the purple. Gonna be a great holiday season for you .

Thanks @Dabber and @BCBudlady . She really has little to no strawberry smell at the moment. My purple was just berry-ish, not specifically strawberry. Still searching for that strawberry pheno, or maybe it will come on late for my plant. Had some of the purple pheno this morning in my dynavap. Just now getting up from a 2.5 hour nap. A very good indica buzz for sure. :snooze:

Yes, the purple pheno is a berryish smell but the green pheno is definitely strawberry. Smells like funky old sneakers running through a strawberry patch. You will love it. I think the smell did not come on until she got super frosty and almost ready. I have one of each going again because they are great evening . Nothing wrong with a 2 1/2 hour nap either.

Sweet plant seymour. She is gonna be a monster in 3 weeks. Cant wait

Once again, had the morning off, so I decided to photograph one of the current ladies. This is my Blue Toof Special on day 39. She has had little to no training, as I wanted to see her natural form. She has not balked at the nutes I have been using and the amounts of those nutes. Very similar to Strawberry Nuggets in that way. She is starting to pack on the buds to the point that she is starting to form decent colas. Her budsites and hairs are an off-white, almost yellow or golden. I think she is going to be one heck of a plant at the end. And if the smoke is as good as everyone says it is, then she might be a staple in my garden for the forseeable future. Now onto the pictures...

Good Sunday Afternoon to everyone. It's a beautiful fall dy here, and while everyone is out enjoying the weather, I decided to take some photo's of the girls.

Gold Glue - Day 23 - She is still in veg and growing. She has some bigger then average leafs, and a decent structure. I am hoping she grows another 6-12". Just leaf tucking at the moment,
no LST. First run of a new plant I like to see her with her natural structure before I intervene with training tactics.

Blue Toof Special - Day 43 - She is very much in flower, and starting to stack a bit. She has a smell I can't quite put a finger on, I think it may be mango-ish, not sure. Again, not much done to train her as this is the first time I have grown her. She has a great natural structure, almost christmas tree-like, but a bit on the small side. I think if I like the smoke, and from what I have read most people love the smoke at bedtime, she might become a staple in the garden. I have enough of these (19) to run for a bit before I have to try and remake her. I am most excited to get her to the finish line and then get her cured. Holiday meds me thinks!

Grape Walker Kush - Day 46 - So this girl has been the one that has me scratching my head. She definitely is not liking the nute regimen (MC+SC+BE+CALMAG) that I have her on. But, I have have had another plant that acted this way, in fact two plants but different phenos, and the common denominator is Grape Crinkle. So I need to find out if the GC had any special needs regarding nutes. I did run a Double Grape (GC is in DG also) as well, but that was an all organic run. She has a great open structure and nice size, but she is not stacking as the buds are short colas/golf balls. I guess that come from the Skywalker lineage. I am hoping she can finish without her current deficiencies causing her too much problems other then slightly discolored leaves. I am watching her closely.

Strawberry Nuggets - Day 60 - She is becoming a a real beauty. She really swelling, but there still is no overbearing strawberry smell. I think she might go 77 days (give or take a day or two) and produce about two ounces of meds. She takes nutes really well, and doesn't complain. She has basically been maintenance-free, except for a bit of LST. As I said before, SN (both regular and purple pheno) will be one of the staples of my garden for the foreseeable future. Whats not to like about her? Relatively quick, above average yield for her size, BOG genetics, and great nighttime meds. For me a keeper.
