Needed a small area to sex small amounts of plants so threw this together .
$5 tote x 2
$9 bath light x 2
6 x 100 watt equivalent cfls (6k)
$1.50 roll of metal tape
Metal film from previous job.
Simple construction . Just used the film and tape to line the box and mounted the bath lights on each side . Both are wired together to a single cord/plug . Second tote ( not pictured ) just sits on top of the first with vent holes to let heat out .
Went with bluer lights to keep the plants short while they sex . Have about $40 total invested , but will get the job done , and can even use it to throw clones in while rooting if I want .
The pic doesn't show how bright this really is . Almost blinding ,lol
