Anyone ever had this nonsensical deficiency?? I thought I was seeing some new growth up top looking really pale green compared to how it was growing! Finally got in and inspected and some spots I hadn’t seen that looked worse!

Was guessing at 1st til I saw leaf in last pic! Starting from base of leaf moving out so either sulphur or manganese but says sulphur makes funny colored spots on bottom of leafs so my guess is manganese for the win (not a win but hey figured it out)! I’m thinking using the Agsil16 not only at waaaay higher rate than I was supposed to (labeled wrong) but also never ph’d solution afterwards and just heard yesterday the silica in it shoots ph up so prob too high of ph in medium locked it out! Need to test soil ph but this is kinda making it difficult to get soil for slurry sample.....

Should I just rip some roots up so I can test soil cuz it’s a solid mass just below surface?? I’m too poor to afford a good bluelab soil ph probe!

If blue lab is too pricey have a look at Apera. They work well and are much lower in price.

Thanks man Liking them so far but then again i've only been using the basic grow & bloom in my mixes so really can't comment on their other products, My main thing right now is trying to get timings right with the top feeds lol People say you should get 5 weeks out of the initial feeding but obviously that depends on what size pots you're using and how hungry they are.

In my little 2 gallon's i usually have to top dress the 4th week then every 2 weeks after that.

I have a ph pen what I don’t have is a ph soil probe! These earthboxes make crazy roots so if I could avoid it didn’t wanna tear a chunk up so I could slurry test with my pen! I have apera pc20 I think it is and paid $25 open box off amazon and had case and fluids with it! Hope u didn’t mean apera makes a soil probe that I never noticed! I know there are some other brands to but didn’t know how well they worked and can’t trust Amazon reviews!

Just went through the entire thread, so many great grows in here!
I think I'll join in as well in the new year, I have three packs of photoperiod seeds I need to grow and this would be the perfect excuse to pop some beans. Just gotta decide which ones to do first, they are three packs so I'd be growing all three of one pack.

End of week one nothing much to report leaf tucking each day most of the plants arent shooting up yet but growing outwards i stripped all the bud sites except the tops before flower and left all the fan leafs i think il remove all the fans from the bottom of the plants end of week 2 and maybe strip another few bud sites depending how they look

Here's 1 of my sherbets that got pulled out of the big tent a few weeks back now because she was small and would of never kept up with the other girls. She's still small but is not far of not the healthiest of the bunch but she smells sweet.
