Hi all

This will be my 1st diary on the site and a big thanks to @St. Tom for telling you all about it, I wasn't sure if we could post our photoperiod plants on an auto site so it's great to see not only is everyone welcome but all kind of plants too

I'm still trying to work my way around such a comprehensive site and I keep finding new threads and topics of interest.

I will be doing 2 diaries and this one will be for photoperiods and the other will be for autos.

I'm by no means an experienced grower but some will say I am but ive no idea and just feed plants and try and look after them the best I can.

My set up is using a green qube 60x90x160 which is shit as there is no lower cable sock so everything gets fed through the zipper! I'm using a Par+275w LED with a greenhouse 80w tube heater, plants on heat mat but its rarely on as temps are around 28c tops and roots around 24/25! Not sure how to cool that down with the tube being next to them at floor level. Extraction is ac infinity 6" using controller 67 and set at speed 1 and sides sucked in lol I originally got it for a 60x120x180 tent but downsized to closet grow. I've a big 12incher fan over the light blowing down and around my plants and a silly 6in clip on which does nothing really lol

Feed I'm using biotabs. The mandarin panties is week 13veg and I think im going to need to give an injnction of silicium flash to help as I move into flower as she's drying up the nutrients mixed in the soil at the beginning which was meant to last 5wk the apollo black cherry is 10wk and she's doing OK just now as she's only been in biotab 7wk, both will be fed biotab compost tea and PK5-8 Iin flower

my panty punch is mixed with silicium flash so she's on water only and is 5wk tomorrow

I've done my best to upload pics and a video so hope you can see them and enjoy the flower show thats about to begin along with @Seedstockers-Mark

Well its now time to put my plants in flower today and it's day 1 of 12/12.

I think its going to be a long 10 weeks but I've also got some autos running along side in another tent and a separate diary for them..

Temps are aroumd 28c lights on and 25c lights off
Humidity is really low and I think it mightbhave something to do with drying and chilling up some leaves, ive always had a high humidty problem as I always grew in coco so watering around 3x a day increases it.

Anyway I guess the good thing of low humidity is in flower they won't be soaking and getting damp with moisture sitting between the leaves!

I gave plants a boost of silicium flash but as usual I think I fucked up as I was hacking away near the stem trying to make a hole, it seems to have picked up but noted with advice given it wontnhappen again.

Anyway here's my 3 taken earlier tonight before lights off

Hi all

It took a while to find my diary and I havent a clue so had to do a search under seedstockers lol

Anyway here I am and I'm nearly 1wk past flower.

I have taken advice from @Bob's Auto's about how my plants are and was advised to lay off feed and judt give plain water for a few days.

I'm pleased to say I think there's an improvement but it's filling out now and I'm wondering about defoliating the fan leaves.

All previous grows ive done this pre flower and anything with a stem on day 21 is cut.. I know some may say its a sin to do that but I try different things to suit

The problem I've got here is 2 plants that have had nearly 13wk veg and they've no even began to stretch in flower Hahaha and I'm in a 60x90 tent so it is going to get pretty full

I'm just a little uncertain this time in cutting the fan leaves and so far I've resisted temptation but can feel those clippers coming out sooner than day 21

Feeding only water, lights on 28c lights off 25c humidty lights on 57% Lights off 50%

Heres some pics and a video of how things are today.

Any thoughts and opinions on here for defoliation in flower appreciated as I do like to see what others think about that ritual.

Well I feel a bit silly as for some reason I didn't know Seedstockers had photos!

Defol in flower? I like to look for those long thin spindly shoots. I cut and pull those all through flowering. They will be the thin light green ones.

Hi @DCLXVI yeah defoliate in flower

I watched a YouTube video as I always like looking st new things, this guy did a massive defol on day 21 and again day 40.

I tried it and think it went OK and kinda like it more as it opens the airflow below the canopy.

Seedstockers have lots of photoperiods available, it's the autos that are all new to me so I'm practising on a gelato 41 and trying for the love to get a seed germinated but having no luck

Here's so plants I defoliatwd in the past

Looks like you know what you’re doing. And yes you can defol in flower. Check out “schwazzing” technique. Stripping the plant of all large fans and only leaving budsites and small bud fan leaves

Thats the name of it @Jpkindbud I was going to say some might refer to it as lollipopping buy its not as extreme as cutting the whole bud sites off

Thanks for the hint how to find things easier, it's helped alot
