Hello AFN,
Reading the forum in the past 1 month like everyday here, so decided to start my first grow.
Germinated everything mephisto way, and poted the seed in soil (florabella potting soil).
Today is the second day after I planted the seeds in soil, and here down are the photos.
Would like to know if there is any problem with photo 1,2,3

Also i would like to mention, that like diy humidity dome i use clear plastic cups with hole on top. (Not sure when to remove this , but thinking on day 4 to get rid of this not to cause root problems).

Seeds are Rqs: northern light auto, royal jack, dwarf, sweet skunk

Light: 2x 26 watt cfl 6500k for 5 seedlings

.... sometimes the case, or an inner membrane doesn't fully release,.. with the case, you'll need to wet it down, let it sit for a minute to hydrate some, then get surgical,... fine tip tweezers and a toothpick, try to gently hold the case on one half, and lift the other half with the toothpick,... get a magnifier first, to have a good look at how things are oriented first will help, and also, spot any membrane that may cause the cotly's to stick together... if so, moisten again, and find a loose shred to tug at lightly, should release easily if moistened enough,...

.. get a wetting agent, very handy stuff for several applications,... anything foliar, helps water/feeds penetrate soils better,... basically, it takes the surface tension out of the solution, so stuff coats and sticks better on leaves, and cuts through soils that have become a bit resistant to hydration,...allows moisture to slip into micro-fine spaces that might otherwise not get in because of that surface tension, like under a case to soften that membrane!,...

Hey Waira your suggestion did the trick, just touched and membrane felt down. Here down you have some photos of seedling in day 6(how do they look?).
Also wanted to ask for the lights, right now i use 2x26 watt cfl , are they enough, do i need to add some more light over time?
I plan also to move them under sun when they will be ready for that, starting slowly one hour per day in sun, adding more hours everyday...
Thank you a lot for your helps means a lot to me as a newbie, i learn everyday :),big up

when I acclimate, I just make sure it gets morning sun and has shade over its head mid day..
week of that should be good..
i'd say they'd do better under the sun compared to those cfl's, even a window sill .. but for the first week or so they are fine

Thank You for the suggestion mohawk
As peak temp. here in eastern Europe can go to 35C (95F) , i think to get them out on day 10-11 just to strength the roots a little bit, ass you suggested on peak temps. i will use shade (but what materials you use as shade, some greenhouse things to let the sun to penetrate or smth else)?
An ofcourse outside i need to watch more often for watering, they will dry much faster!
Thank You again

under a tree would be enough shade for me... just outta direct high noon sun
I get some disgusting weather here.. mid 40's and stuff.. been this year with all this rain.. don't think its gone over 30 this summer yet..

I don't think I've ever killed a plant by moving it outside.... may help your confidence??

had to come back...
shouldn't say that... plants have died.. but not from acclimation.. damn squirrels and robins mind you we have been getting into altercations for quiet some time this year...
I swear they did it on purpose because I stopped them from nesting (never happened before)

Mohawk you make me confident, I'll move them out around day 10-12
Will update here with photos.
Thank you and have great day

:smoking: good to hear mate! As for your lights, that's OK for now, as seedlings,.. but not so much as they get older,.. the problem is, even with more bulbs, the intensity isn't strong enough, and the light spectrum isn't good either,.. these are regular lamp type bulbs I assume? ... the Sun will be way too much for them initially, as you know,.. Mo' here has good suggestions,.. also, if you can put them in a small crate or something, and rig up a canopy cover to cut down the light, that'll be fine too,.. question is, what materials you can get access to,... ideally, shade cloth would be best,... window screen material, 2-3 layers thick will work,.. even a sheer fabric (white) will do,...anything that will cut the Sunlight by at least 1/3,... The amount of light hours is very important for good results; by bloom, about a month from now, how much Sunlight will they be getting? If you can get some other sort of grow light, to give them the extra light hours they need to make good bud, it'll be worth it,.. remember, early morning and late afternoon light is weak compared to prime time Sun hours,...
Temps are an issue if you're in the 90's, stressful for young plants especially if the RH% is low,...over-drying is a real hazard, and will stunt them; any hard coverings, domes, in that weather will roast them! You will have to be very careful,....:greenthumb:
