2x2 with ffhf in a 2 gallon pot 18/6 and have lights off atm.

Temp between 77-80/rh 40’s-50’s
Growers choice tangerine dream at day 8 sprout from soil.

May have over watered some but have been backing off and giving less (was about 3 days between). Just watered yesterday but was 4 days from the last. Straight ph water (soft tap but sitting out a few days) only right now between 6.2-6.3

Noticed that she’s been lighter in color (or maybe the light playing tricks on me?) the last couple of days and thought it was from overwatering so I dropped the rh (60-70 to 40-50) to dry it out some. Noticed today that one of leaves we’re starting to curl slightly like heat stress?
Also, I moved my ts600 up from 24 to 26 now to see if that helps. Any advice would be helpful! Think I’ll come down from 1/2 liter to about 1-1 1/2 cup of water next time? Any thoughts about adding a small dose of cal-mag?

Leaf curl is more than likely due to you reducing the rH... root system is not developed enough to keep up with the amount of canopy she has yet. First 2 weeks she is spending her energy building a root system.

Dropping the relative humidity is not a fix for overwatering... it causes the plant to process more fluids, containing more nutes, and many times will burn plants and look like an overfeed issue.

Bring your rH back up. I see no issues that should cause you concern at this point.

No reason to add cal/mg. Many times, especially when little like she is, less is more.

That's a relief! Probably not the greatest picture to show the small curl on the left leaf but will increase the RH as suggested.

Have found they're kinda like kids. The first one or two you tend to go overboard on safety... by the time the 4th kid is around, your yelling if it's not bleeding or broken don't bother me!
We tend to all be overly concerned when we pick up this "hobby", watching every moment. As time goes on it will become more routine, going in do your thing & out. I think they do better when not pestered constantly.

Your pretty much on target with the temps, lighting can be high at this point, she doesn't need much. If she starts getting "leggy" and wanting to fall over, then your too high, she looks just fine.

Like @Arthur says she is just fine. Be careful not to kill her with kindness.

I wish I could take away most peoples Cal-Mag it is the most overused, abused nutrients and has damaged more plants than any other nutrient. Unless you are running in coco you probably will never need to add any additional to your regular base nutrients. And Never Ever feed it alone. Only feed with all of your other nutrients in a balanced blend.

:goodluck:

the new growth looks droopy? I added more soil to help with the stem exposure and to give her some more support. Thoughts on what’s going on? Same description as previously.

Gave her 1 liter 2 days ago and about 1 1/2 cups today (top 1 inch was getting dry) after adding more soil.. No nutes at this point and only ph water in HHOF.

I let the girl dry out and watered today. She hit a growth spurt and is working on her 4th node. It occurred to me that the plant is generally drooping after lights our and take some time to stretch out before becoming perky again. This morning, she was reaching for the sky and looked great. Shortly after lights out, she became droopy again but has increased in length and width. Thanks guys for the help, time to sail!

This Tangerine dream strain from GC was grown using organic amendments for the 1st time. I believe it may have hurt overall yield but the quality is a good trade off. Pic is just prior to chop.
