New Grower Second Timer - DP Auto Night Queen In DWC

Day 67

Middle of the fifth week of flower

These Queens are so beautiful to watch do their thing. I can't wait to get home each day to see what surprises they have in store for me! Queen 1 is massive, and her colas continue to pick up weight. It's freaking incredible! I don't think I will ever grow another plant quite like her, so I am enjoying this one! Most of her buds and hairs have a purple tinge. And even the secondary colas are fattening in their own right.

The UV light has been having an affect for sure. The buds are increasing in fuzz from the trichome explosion, and the sweet berries and cream aroma is captivating. delicious. I didn't check trichomes today, but will soon, I am hoping to push her for three weeks, and see what else she can do!

Queen 2 doesn't have the tall full colas of her sister, but her buds are growing a lot each day, still filling out. Her buds have a slight pink tinge on the tops and golden hairs. She will be stunning when she fills out! I don't expect that she will have near the weight as the milkshake, but she won't be any slouch if she continues with this vigor.

She will most likely be a later harvest, by a week or two, but I did see some cloudy trichs when I check this past weekend. We will keep an eye on what she wants to do. She smells like wild strawberries, but with more cinnamin than cream. A very tasty combination indeed.

Here are some random shots. Thanks for stopping by and indulging with me!

Wow those look amazing! You said you lived close by, right? Lol. Can’t wait to see what the yield is on those.

Hey ND! Thanks alot! Yeah, I am a short ride down 80 to Sac. Smoke test in February! Ha!

Don't want to get my hopes up with her, but Queen 1 is just as big as my GG from my first grow, but the colas are so full, I wouldn't be surprised if she came close to doubling the five ounces I got from the GG. At least, that is MY new dream!

Yep, you nailed it in your second Grow. Super job on your side. You now have the process to get super buds, but there is no doubt that Night Queen is one of the best strains on the planet to grow, and when you get a strong seed that gives you the SB milkshake pheno, well my friend, you hit the jackpot twice in a row! You smashed it!
:d5:

She will be great right from day one, but where she really shines is after a two or three month proper cure. Hopefully this time, you'll have enough buds to last that long:crying::pighug:

Lol! Thanks @MedCzech I have finished all my CP, so this indica strain will be right on time! I still have a little GG left, though.

I am sure I will be tasting throughout the cure process!! Lets call it a scientific experiment on the affects of a proper cure. If I am done in two months, I definitely need a tolerance break! Lol!

Definitely will be back with this strain after a hopefully quick Mephisto grow!

But still work to do here. The spice is still throwing out a bunch of white hairs and buds are still branching. Hoping she can get closer to the milkshake in weight before she is done. The already cloudy trichs are working against her.

Not a bad problem to have that the milkshake pheno is much bigger...I don't feel bad for you bro. I know that plant so well, and I have grown every pheno. Hell, I reported to DP that there are four phenotypes and not three. You didn't get the pickled Berry pheno or the creamy pine pheno. I think the pickled Berry pheno was a genetic mutation due to more exposure even to UV from that blurple I ran in full spectrum during the preflower into flower and that kind of cooked her brains a bit, but still it may just be another phenotype. I will run her gain in a year or so. I have like 700 grams left of that strain, so I am good for a while.:pass:

The creamy pine pheno I called Jessica in the last grow has cured up to be an absolute treat. Think I might make a nice cup of coffee and pack up a small glass spoon of that right now...:baked:

Yep, she is sweet too. Gave a little sniff into the SB milkshake jar, just to remind myself of what you will experience soon. It is heaven in that jar man! Absolute heaven :coffee:

Yeah, I would say you are good for a while with 709 grams! Good gosh!

See, you know I am a weak man without any indica. You are gonna make me break off a cola tonight talking like that! Damn! Sounds good!

Kind of got me to thinking — you don’t rotate your ladies. I rotate my girls and as a result I have dead space in the canopy. I’m thinking on my next grow, with space being tight with 4 buckets, to train them into squares and skip the rotation.

What do you mean by dead space in the canopy, DG? I wish I could rotate or at least reach my plant in the back. I would love to remove from the tent, take photos and get up close and personal with them. There are whole colas that I will see for the first time when I harvest. But that it just a dream for me!
