Day 44
1150 ppms
5.8 ph
81 degrees
72% rh
I changed the reservoir to 1150, top off tank to 700, and have phed and Mammoth p water ready to adjust either down if need be. My plan all along was to veg with the Kind LED only and then add the cob, or maybe even two, if the plants could handle through flower. It looks like the light from the Kind gives them all they need. Wasn't the case last grow, but I have learned to adjust to what the plant is telling me. I won't be able to get the cobs any higher than they were, so have to take the height of these plants into account. They can grow pretty close to the Kind with no impact, but the cobs need more clearance. We will see what happens with just the Kind going now.
Other than the light intensity issue, I continue to be impressed with these plants. I have rarely seen week 1 flowering like I am seeing on Queen 1, and Queen 2 is only a couple days behind. If I don't mess it up, I will have a bountiful harvest from them.
They stretched like crazy over the past week! I am hopeful that we are near the end of that. I would be happy with 2-3 inches, but no more! Hope they oblige! Training is a must with this strain, unless you have no height concerns, which is not my case!
The canopy has developed as I hoped. So many tops that are each reaching 12+ inches, and are stacking nicely already in week 1 of flowering.
Here is a shot of a typical stalk on Queen 1. I count over 20 this size, and another 15 or so a bit shorter.
Another one...
You can see just many there are from this shot.
A shot of Queen 1:
Queen 2 is a couple days behind. Remember her from the beginning? She took a couple days longer to hit the water, and have been trying Queen 1 by a couple days ever since. Also, they are different phenos.
Full cabinet for sure!
Impressed by the girth of their stalks! Queen 2 first:
And Queen 1:
Well, they survived my week away, and seem to be striving. Will be watching everything environmental like a hawk to make sure I get every gram I can from them. They are fun to grow, but will be even better to smoke!
Auto Night Queens, baby!
