New Grower Second Grow

I'll try and check. I only have fem autos from RQS. I really hope that the polen did not get inside the tent.
Thank you
I don't mind an extra seed or 2 if I was working for seed. Unknown, magical seeds that appear once in a while, those get tossed. If it was from a hermaphroditic parent, I don't want the gene being passed on.

I'm not working for seed. Only my second grow, i'm still learning. I sent an email to RQS. Let's see if they say something

Its unfortunate. The herms are really a problem that we created for ourselves during the dark years. No internet, knowledge had to be passed around hand to hand. Many people used herms to make femmed seeds back then, amplifying a genetic flaw that we all pay for now. Sometimes you can work a strain several generations before the dreaded herm gene pops up, and SHOULD end the project. Many times it doesn't, too much time and money invested.

Also, many of the big name photo strains are herm prone. Bringing them to auto brings that gene along too.

Cutting Broomhilda early seeds or not will prevent her reaching her potential. Who knows maybe it is Broomhilda that hermed. Did you visit other grows? Did you leave windows open in your house? Did you check all of your plants for nanners or ball sacks?
Hopefully you got an accidental kick ass seed.

Did you do any training or topping while transitioning to flower? I have had an auto or two toss a male sack when I was rough during transition. On the low internodes, just a couple sacks that could be plucked. I don't give the girls to hard a time now until established in flower, unless I top early, but i kinda avoid messing with them too much from sexing to flower.

Ya. I LST hard. I top them as well. I cant live my life in fear. Unwanted pollination sucks but it is a 1st world issue. Right?

Another thing, if Broomhilda was polinated, can that mean i should chop sooner? Will she start making seeds? How can i look for signs of that? Really guys, if you can help @St. Tom @420Forever @Builder0101 @Waira @automan2 @derek420colorado @Kyote @Mañ'O'Green
I'm going to apologize now bc I didn't read all of the posts but yes you can chop a plant that's just for seeds early I've also noticed depending on when pollination occurred but 5 to 6w6wks is wat I see average now seeds in a piece of bud can mature at very different rates now I prefer to pick seeds that look done leaving the rest for them to mature. Now for when to pick them off the plant if you watch the caylaxes you will notice they look very plump and the caylax it's self is splitting pick one off and check it out the caylax should be able like a fruit roll up its got that split and u can literally roll it out of there here is a pic

Once a plant is seeded, shes working on making viable seeds and not as focused on the other stuff. It's the other stuff that has us interested.
I'd say sinsemilla is the desired end product whether first or third world.

I agree but I do not think the potency goes down from there. I do not know thst answer. Just my feeling. If a plant is making seeds may as well let it go and make mature seeds. If the seeds make great plants bonus. Offspring may have a tendency to herm. We do not even know if he has a herm.

If, your growing femmed seeds, and don't have buddies wandering thru your grow that also grow (or vise versa), then law of parsimony would argue it is far more likely that he had a plant throw a sack than an errant male pollen carried in and did it.
