New Grower Second Grow

sounds like a good idea bro and you picking up tons of knowledge and experience and i think you may become very addicted to this growing shit i know i have also and you've made lots of canna friends on the way so its all good
I believe i'm already addicted to growing. I'm constantly thinking of ways to improve and planning how to do it next time. AFN is a great support network and the only way to share the experience.
Since the seeds the girls gave aren't "breeder" seeds, i'll try the paper towel method, or something like that, before putting the beans on soil. It might be fun to have several little girls outside and just watch them develop without LST, nutes or whatever. Just growing as they choose.

Day 83 since the seeds went to the soil.
Do you see what i mean about Mimosa's colas? So many, sometimes hidden by branches. That's the main reason that s me keep feeding her until the first harvest session. Maybe more time. I'm thinking of doing Mimosa's first harvest session on the weekend, maybe harvest more of Lucrecia (1 week since the first session). The trichs will tell me what to do, but please, chime in.

Hi guys. Day 87.
Second harvest session today on Lucrecia. Beautifull dense buds, like on the first session (already jarred). I was planning on harvesting a bit of Mimosa tomorrow but it seems the buds could get more dense, like her sister had. I'm leaving some pics, please let me know what do you think. Chop the bigger buds or wait a bit more?

They look pretty dense to me

I have a theory, but it may not make much sense. I think that the fact that she's so big is delaying the bud "fattening". Too many mouths to feed, or something like that. Lucrecia is the same age and if you look at her pistils (remeber she only has lower buds now) versus the pistils on the top buds os Mimosa, you'll see they aren´t the same. Much more mature on Lucrecia. And so are the buds. Hard to the touch, dense from the tip to the center, and with a bud "shape". I'll keep lingering for a few days to see if there are any changes.
Thanks

The 2 stage harvests I've done did not seem to produce the desired effect. No new development etc. Just my thoughts.

And sometimes, the buds just don't get dense for whatever reason? I just go by the trichomes for harvesting.

I'll give her a few more days before starting.
