New Grower Second grow. Just MegaCrop, no bullshit...

So even though my first grow produced enough weed for a year or more, I guess I got the growing bug and I couldn't resist starting another plant.

Seedsman OG Kush
2 parts ProMix, 2 parts organic soil, 1 part perlite

Megacrop only from seedling to harvest. I'm thinking I'll top it after the 5th node, maybe not, we'll see.

My goal is to try to grow super simple and not obsess about temp, humidity, ph, etc. I may not grow award winning plants but as my first grow proved, even a shitty grow will get you an ounce of good weed.

Started in a solo cup and transplanted into 3 gallon smart pot on day 11 when roots were showing out the bottom. Currently at day 17.

Hi! I’ll pull up a chair and follow along. I’ve actually got a group of 4 plants that are almost 3 weeks old that are gonna be megaCrop only. Looking forward to see how the MC works for you. Are you gonna use Bud explosion or any other greanleaf products? I’m gonna use MC, Bud Explosion, and CalMag. Starts look nice and healthy. Good luck!

Hey Wes. I have Cal Mag and I'll use it if the plant starts crying for it but otherwise I'm going for nothing but MegaCrop.
What's the worse that can happen? I kill a plant! I seriously doubt I'd kill it but I might not get "optimum buddage". I don't care. Just OK buddage is fine with me.

Hi Paradiso! I’m on my first grow with GH nutes and it’s working fine. But I’ve got the MC bug so I’ll be trying it with my next grow.

I'm either gonna prove that you don't need to be so anal about stuff to grow good weed or that I'm an asshole who should just shut up and follow instructions. Either way, a lesson learned!

I too am using only MegaCrop, pH up/dn, and nothing else whatsoever, in a DWC hydro setup with RO water.
The main problem is too much growth, with every plant over 5 ft tall and no room to move branches.
A 7 foot Dinafem White Widow XXL is growing past the lights.
I've never seen such massive growth, and healthy happy plants.
There were some over-feeding issues early, which stunted growth and killed some leaves, but I now know to feed far less than the instructions say.

People should believe GreenLeaf when they say that nothing but MegaCrop is needed, not even CalMag in RO hydro.
I even suspect without proof that most of the exotic teas, elixirs, boosters, etc actually do harm.
