Hi guys! Hope everyone is having a good one.
I just opened a fresh pack of Frisian Dew seeds, and was a bit underwhelmed with the size and colour of the seeds... All 3 seeds seem a bit white to me, but what do I know.
Can someone with more experience please chime in and give his/her opinion?

Some other seeds I got from a different grower definitely were bigger and more black. Those were Northern Lights auto's and I successfully germed 7 out of 7 seeds...

If these will not germ, I have to get me some other seeds quickly, as the outdoor grow season is about to start around here!

They will be absolutely fine. All of my DP seeds have looked worse than that and worked out great. They wouldnt send them out if they thought they wont work.

They are coming from Dutch Passion and their seeds has a very good standard and germ rate. Different strains can have different kind of look and shape of the seeds. Some seeds are small and almost black, and some are bigger and lighter in their color. I would say those 3 will germ without a problem.

like said above seeds come in all shapes sizes and colors if they dont pop and you bought them direct from DP im possitive they would sort you out you going to do a journal on them ?:pass:

Yes, I will be doing a journal. I am currently germinating 1 think different seed since Friday evening (it's Sunday morning here now) and will be doing a journal on that in the outdoor growers forum. This 1 frisian dew seed I am germinating for a friend, but will be doing one for myself in 2 weeks. I'll try to add that to the journal as well. I'm a new grower, so it should be interesting, at least for me. I'll grow all natural in full soil outdoors without lights or nutrients.

Thanks for the quick comments everyone.
I thought every seed had to be black to be ready to germinate.
Must say, the bagseed I found in my friend's auto northern lights were bigger and striped black.

il keep a eye out for your journal and you can actually get seeds where that striped outer layer has peeled off the seed leaving a unstriped paler looking seed then some dont get striped at all some can be black then some can be the size of a pea it all down to different gentics of different strains and the regions of the world they originated

Hey Ken,

as the others said, no worries they look ok and if for any reason they shoudn't pop out you can write DP a mail and they'll get you sorted, i've grown the FD for many years outdoors and felt in love with it, a real couch locker, watch out for the green pheno type, tag me in your journal!
