Live Stoner Chat scrubber charcoal refill??

Is this carbon the same as it is for aquarium filters? I just found. 50lb bag for $50 online.
I believe it is the same. Just that some of the aquarium carbon is smaller. Then you have some of the issues of getting the filter can packed. So far I've just found it easier to purchase a replacement carbon filter each year ($40-90) depending on brand.

The carbon in my first filter was pelletized. The carbon in my other filters is granulated. The granulated stuff is supposed to work better. I found 50lbs of the carbon pellets online and I've been repacking my filters for 3 years and still got about half of the carbon left. Seems to work pretty good.

Any chance you can provide a link to the carbon you use? Thank you

Please let me know about these pallets so I can be sure I'm buying 50 lbs worth of the right stuff

That price seems pretty much in love with the lowest I see in general. Any idea about aurally recharging old cans? I read someone basically flushed theirs out with a house for some time, then leaves the filter sitting in the sun and it supposedly recharges it. I'm just curious, might be a possibility.

I've never tried it, but the general consensus of all I've read ranges from, It doesn't work at all to it might buy you a couple of months of use at greatly reduced efficiency.
