Indoor Sawney’s Blueberries in SOG

I grow in my garage with far from perfect growing conditions and try my best to keep it as cool as I can in the summer and as warm as I can in the winter. I use a dehumidifier but no heater or air conditioner, the dehumidifier sits outside of the tent and runs 24/7 hoping to bring down the R/H in the entire garage to facilitate the other tents I have in there.
That's similar to me, I'm in a shed rather than a garage and trying to maintain the environment is a bigger challenge than actually growing :crying: .

I've managed to surround my tent with 2" poly sheets for the winters and added an oil fired heater sitting to one side in it's own poly box. The inlet for the tent sucks the hot air out from the box, helping me lower the humidity for flowering rather than sucking in the cold air of a night time. The problem I have is the de/humidifiers are inside the actual tent but this is killing my actual grow space. I just wish I had the space for a bigger tent rather than the 2x4 I make do with.

Lol! Seems like we have a similar situation.
I could imagine it being even more difficult managing a grow environment in a shed compared to a insulated garage. Good idea with the poly sheets, I was thinking of doing the same thing and enclosing 2 of the tents I have with poly to hold in the dry air and heat during the winter. The things we do to grow out cannabis. :rolleyes1:
BTW… thanks for the reps @DeanOnAuto

Oh this is amazing! I feel so silly for setting up drain pans, buckets, hydro rings on my main tent. I need to do a flood and drain for my next project for sure. Is it okay to use coco and fabric pots for this kind of system? Or what medium would you recommend? Coco is the only medium I have experience with unfortunately.

Thanks man!
Ebb&Flow is a fun way to grow if you don’t mind maintaining a reservoir… great for growing SOG.
I’ve seen people use different medium with flood and drain including coco but I prefer rock wool. It’s really easy to work with and fairly inexpensive, you would get use to it in no time.

Here is one that’s almost done.
