All new for breeding and making gen1 of a strain I need to name. It's a Californian kush x chocolate skunk.
I grew both of them this year outdoors, both did great. A tiny bit of bud rot showed up late on the chocolate skunk but the Cali Kush is doing amazing. The Cali Kush got very big in size and put out nice Kush golf balls all over it and the chocolate skunk put out massive big colas all over it. Sound like a nice pairing bud. The Chocolate Skunk put out a super lemon diesel aroma all the way through flower but now that it is curing in jars it is pulling out a nice chocolate aroma kinda weird how it shifted in aroma through the drying process but very nice smoke strong and heady effects. Where did you get the original Chocolate Skunk? Was that a 00 seeds?

yea mate 00seeds. I see they do a chocolate kush to. Very good genetics from 00 from what I have grown in the past.
Thanks for the info dude. Very helpful.
this is a strain I'm still working on and it may take another introduction of new genetics to get what I want. I plan on taking this cross down the hash route. I'm working on making my own "hash plant" for go to breeding.

Im toking on some of the fresh Lecter this morning from the OD grow and it is some amazing medicine! To me this first pheno currently smells and taste like Grape Bubbalicious Bubble Gum. Its working overtime on my back pain for sure.... The flowers are covered in tons of sandy trichomes, under the scope the trics have thin stalks and huge bulbs looks like it would be great for Ice water hash.... They were some beautiful flowers while growing they put on a bit of purple late in flower that seemed to glow like a halo of silver all around the flowers. I grew both of the Lecters for my first time in a greenhouse outdoors and they seemed to handle my abuse very well. I never got power out to the green house and the temps and RH were insane for pretty much the whole grow in the mid to high 90's and consistently 70 to 85 % RH they probably would have done even better if I had gotten a couple of vent fans down there....

Thanks again for hooking me up with some amazing genetics bud! Keep making that FIRE!

Nice
It definitely is good medicine strain, that's 1 of the reasons I keep growing lecters lol
Well that and it's nice buds and quick harvest time,
Helps my sciatica big time,

Update, but no pics.

The older Lecters are pretty much ready but going to leave for a few more days.
Going to wait for this rainy weather in the next or two to pass, then cut.
I need the rain to pass because I dry them outside.
The bigger one is showing a bit of purple around the edges.
Wouldn't call it a purple/red strain, but it does add to the visual appeal.

The younger Lecters and accompanying Nuggets are doing very well.
Just showed pistils a day or two ago, on day ... 25 from drop, day 15 (ish) from sprout.
That's pretty fast, as some pistils are on the 3rd or 4th main node.
They are now branching a bit as well, as they're established in their in-the-ground locations.
Hopefully this spot of rain doesn't bring slug issues, I think they'll be okay.

Hopefully have a harvest photo or two next week.
