Breeding is complicated. .. you need to have a soul purpose in mind with an end game in plan. Pollen chucking is easy throw some pollen and see what it sticks to. Most of us start out seed making or pollen chucking and wind up breeders some of us never make a real label but are still excellent breeders. Breeding takes years of understanding and even more time to build a label. Get the breeders Bible it will build a foundation to build from.

That's the one mate.
I have this book and it helped me create a understanding of basic breeding . It's more for photoperiod breeding with only a small section on Autoflower.
It's still a good fundamental starting point.

I got the same book. I thought it was a good read and fairly easy to understand.

Not sure about a free download I bought mine I think 4 years ago at the seed bank I'm working with. Looks like I paid 22$ from the price tag on it. The same author has another excellent book called the cannabis grow Bible. George Servantez not sure if I spelled it correctly but he has some excellent cannabis books also.

I think every decent breeder has read this book lol

Some of it gets pretty scientific and I had to reread it several times to figure out what it was talking about. The Hardy Weinberg sections on the punnett squares took a few reads for sure.
