This is them at lights on I lollypoped the 4 today also regarding temps my rh has been a stable 50 and I've grown year around like this and if I have high or low spikes I take action then and temps are very low at the moment never over 80f mainly lower at the moment say 78 and lights out lows of 70f but I was considering popping my green tube heater at the bottom of the tent again but let me know your thoughts .

Isn't 50% humidity on the low side? According to my sheet this would be for mid to end of flower, or am I looking at it the wrong way? The temperatures you talk about are perfect, especially for the time of year. The ladies grow at super speeds at around 75°F so if you let the temperature drop to 70°F during lights out will not be any issue in my prespective.

your charts are most probably right bob but if I don't dip below 50RH I never normally worry . also I'm dialling in a new ac infinity 6-inch extraction fan from a 5 inch rvk but the bigger ones got a fan controller also I'm getting fresh air from ducting to my diffuse air instead of my tent flaps so I think I could adjust my intake to higher my RH see if that helps plus I have got a humidifier and dehumidifier in my arsenal :smoking: but in truth I keep things simple and its paid off all these years and I do tend to wing it lol

There s always room for improvement for me Bob and keep your tips coming as I'm adjusting my air outtake a bit to get my rh up and I may even pop my humidifier in for a while at least till I flip them to 12/12 and another big thanks

I've now set my humidifier in my 4x4 photo run tent also highered the diffuseair so I plan on getting the rh up a bit also the biotabs tent is looking awesome check out those trichomes and cream from my friend @Antonio_DutchPassion there at day 73 so I may run them another week but I'd love people's thoughts

Hey Tom,

If this is old news for you then just ignore and carry on with your wicked work as usual....

If you got one of the new ACInfinity units, it should let you dial in a RH setting for the fan speed. It will make more sense when you have the unit in hand but!

You can program an upper limit for fan speed (1-10) and then set an RH that you don't want to exceed. Say 68% for example. The new controllers let you set a minimum speed as well, either 0 for off or 1 for a slight continuous draw. If the humidifier keeps it at 60% the fan won't increase in speed. If it reaches 68% or higher the new exhaust fans will ramp up in speed and pull air out faster until the RH drops below the trigger point. Same with temperature.

The new controllers also have a transient temp and RH threshold setting. Meaning the fan when triggered won't just go to full blast. It will ramp up slowly depending on the transient setting. You can set it to increase fan speed based on how far over the set point. Again, sounds confusing until you are looking at the controller.

I have my humidifier continously in my tents with an inkbird RH controller to maintain a minimum amount/set point. I let the AC exhaust fan keep things in check. The pendulum always swings a bit so the two together keep things pretty close in check. They all have a swing amount setting so a couple degrees + and -

Having the AC controller monitor and regulate RH makes it far less stressful to run a bit more humidity.

I definitely recommend getting one of the controllers. Makes your environment on autopilot for the most part!!
