Yep, distraction is the best bet. And if not, the negative reinforcement of removing yourself from where he is works well too like in the "oh if I do this Dad won't play with me" sort of way. Thankfully they're so smart that they seem to figure it out pretty quickly.

Of course! We got a kitten Sunday and getting her and sukipup acquainted has been interesting but we can now have both of them in the room together without issue so that's cool at least lol
