I top feed them as that's what I consider a solo cup grow its contained in her own cup also I use extra solo cups to support her but so that sounds fine to me and good plan bro as these get older they can very top heavy

my plan was to take a cheap disposable baking pan and cutting a piece of chicken wire to fit it, and fold down the aluminum edges to hold the wire in place. cut a hole in the middle big enough for the cup to sit into. this way I could tie the branches down to the wire and I could bottom feed by watering the tray. but it wouldn't allow the roots to grow out of the cup.

yes there not bad as it goes its very rare i need to switch it on but its got me out of a couple of jams when its been freezing plus they don't take a lot of space so there great for popping among your pots

I think you seen yourself she's just topped and tied down all the others well the big pots once they start stretching will get the same as I tied my last choc mint down later like that and she was amazing so I'm gonna try that again
