Bill ya know what I was thinking instead of having the rvk fan hanging with it attached I was thinking I could leave that out the tent maybe on the roof and just use ducting to attach right onto the diffuse air as it would be easier to place anyhow let me know ya thoughtsI know I like mine and use the heck out of it since @St. Tom turned me on to them.
I kind of do it that way. Fan is perma mount at top right inlet hole and ducting goes to the DiffuseAire. Hangs normally about 3' from floor but have used wire to pull it up to 4' with some tall sativa's.Bill ya know what I was thinking instead of having the rvk fan hanging with it attached I was thinking I could leave that out the tent maybe on the roof and just use ducting to attach right onto the diffuse air as it would be easier to place anyhow let me know ya thoughts
thanks, bill have you got a thread I can see how you hang yours by any chanceI kind of do it that way. Fan is perma mount at top right inlet hole and ducting goes to the DiffuseAire. Hangs normally about 3' from floor but have used wire to pull it up to 4' with some tall sativa's.
I also have ducting from the inlet down to the floor outside to grab the cooler air. Heat is my biggest issue where I live and I can't even close my flaps, have to run it open front or it easily gets over 100.
I do run a controller and was going to get an AC infinity, problem is they do not sell the UES plug to hook it up. If your going AC it's either 2 separate controllers Temp and Humidity control or you'll have to import the adapter plugs to use their Controller 69. The 79 controller is like the Inkbird offering and has the plugs for your humidifier etc already.Yes mate I will chop them now whenever I have time but I usually do all tops and sometimes I give the lowers another week or so as it's worthwhile .also dean do you use a controller as I have not long bought another 6 inch ac infinity so I was hoping to run both on there controller at some stage and I've got a reducer as my rvk is 5 inch so then I will have to ec fans then
I've heard good things about the accuracy of the probe that comes with that unit. For that money it's a bargain, will you balance the fans to avoid negative pressure, even on low speeds the sides of my tent get sucked in. Luckily I have space saver bars and the SCROG frame to protect those perimeter buds from getting flattened out.As far as I know you can run 4 devices on 1 controller even the new oscillation fans they do that I've got so 2 of there 6 inch would go into 1 and they send you lots of leads to add them .but I have actually got 2 anyway as I bought a separate one as my first come with just a speed controller so I bought that separate to run that and realised I needed to replace the rvk with an ec fan so I looked on eBay as im a bargain whore and I was going to buy just a fan and get that box with it included for 114 quid so after this run in the 4x4 I may set them all up and sorry for the rambling lol also im on my phone .and it's not like I bought them all the same time lol my Mrs wouldn't be happy but I hide it anyway lolView attachment 1643450View attachment 1643451
id hope the controller took care of that but I've got it in pretty good shape with the way I have it now and I'm going to buy a new 4x4 tent soon so I may leave it the way it is till maybe after the next run save messingI've heard good things about the accuracy of the probe that comes with that unit.
