From what I can find online they don't charge the coco coir, so better to be sure and charge it with plenty of Calmag in a bucket of water overnight, then flush the coco coir with plain water, like four times the volume and let it drain. You want the nutrients to be gone, only the cation exchange sites should be filled with the Calcium and Magnesium. This way the coco won't steal those from the nutrients you're giving to the plants.
