Hey Papa Munch....:d5:..the smell is getting rather High...:coffee:

Well..the Rains Hit yesterday...and when it rains in Spain..it is torrential.

Yesterday afternoon when we left this drainage canal had about 2 inches of running water in it..this morning it is a 6 ft fast flowing torrent.
Looks as if we have another foot before we start flooding the surrounding land and me chickens need to learn to swim. :yoinks:

It has virtually stopped raining here..but the water is run off from the mountains which are about 40 minutes away and it still looks ominously black over there.

The land is at saturation point already.
If you think at this point the land has had no real rain since December and it is free draining..then you know how much has come down overnight.

I Think my spring cabbage may have drowned..and that is on the patio under the cover.

Fortunately...my girls seem to have fared better...:d5:...

They haven't had any ferts..so I shouldn't have any mold problems..but if the rain persists I'll move them to the polytunnel or home to the conservatory...:thumbsup:
