"Thank you Mossy for the compliment, made my day ,I obsess over my canna plants like an autistic person oh wait I am a autistic person."

A Blessing and a Curse JJ....?....at least you put the Positives into your Grows...they are Amazing.

krug..that is my Worry now too.
If they were my genetics I know they would take it..they are Used to it..:vibe:..but I'm not sure on the ones I have.

Any of mine off season I don't fert..ferts plus damp overcast weather equal mold.

I wanted to move them out of the conservatory coz the need some good airflow.
Holiday makers are in house behind me..so I went up last night when no-one was around..got them back on the patio..and lo and behold as I settled the last one on the patio..didn't the neighbour on the sides patio light go on.....they are in too

:nono::nono::nono:

they will be able to see the girls on the patio..so they have gone inside again.

Bloody Tourists... :crying:

I ran a fan on them 9pm-4am, then again 9am- 1pm...they`ve been on the back step from 1.30pm. I`ll bring `em in about 5.30pm (open a window or two...). Then, a fan on`em again (8-5ish)...Then cleasne again tomorrow morning and hope the weather is reasonable for the next few days! (ever the optimist eh!) :smoking: :toke:

Early start this morning..

The mornings are really drawing in.....:grump:..winter is on it's way..I Hate winter.
I always want to emigrate or hibernate.

We emigrated 1,200 miles south..but I still hate the winter..

September is the time to set the fresh peas away..they mature around march..time to get my ass into gear.

I did get the jasmine/passion flower/lady of the night and the white thingme planted today..but the land is still a bit to muddy for the transplants.

The aloe vera moms are producing babies..by next spring I should have doubled or trebled my stock and hopefully should be self sufficient in raw aloe drink by next year..:tonic:

Most of what I planted once we got the water sorted is actually growing quite well..especially since the garden has had no feed...and it hasn't been worked for years.
The comfrey I bought to make my own ferts have been rubbish..they just didn't want to germ.

I have some borage now instead and it is easier to germ..so hopefully I will have some for spring.

The weeds are going to be Hell.....they are prolific..so I had a brain turnaround on them.
I've been trying to get some lettuce going for the chickens..germ probs again..then looked at all the fresh germed green lush weeds and realised..Chicken salad...:coffee:

so instead of seeing weeds..I now see free hen food...

Just as well huh..?...the middle row is for a permanent mint hedge.
It has only been there for 3 or 4 weeks and you can See how much fresh weed is in the drainage channels already..
Free Hen food. :crying:

Evening krug..Happy Friday....:bighug:

Love the natural wind break :greenthumb:, good work! You`ve obviously both been a puttin` a shitload of hours in there...And it Shows! :slap:

Very nice garden really dug the aloe Vera mossy ,thank you I really enjoy growing finally found something to do with my life .

"Love the natural wind break :greenthumb:"

No...you don't mean the reeds krug..?..they are like UK couch grass...but 1,000 times bigger and more invasive.

I cannot figure out why they put them there.
The wind is predominantly east or west..trouble from the north when it blows down from the UK...:windy:..but the reeds are south.
Normally all we get from that direction is coming up from the sahara..so it is warm.

I Thought they might be in for shade..but the sun is too high even in winter....and they are not the land border coz we have another 18 mtr swathe past it.

Go Figure..

The only Use for them we can Think of is..every eco house in the UK I've seen uses reeds to filter the waste..if you get me..and since we are on a soak away septic tank..we Think he might have been illegally pumping the waste out...:gassy:

"You`ve obviously both been a puttin` a shitload of hours in there...And it Shows!"

:coffee: Well..I Think we have 1% of the land populated..just 99% left to go....:crying:..lots of lessons learned.

I was sitting contemplating the other day..what have we grown Best down there this season..and the Answer was...

Lizards....:crying:...

"thank you I really enjoy growing finally found something to do with my life"
