if you are going with an "attack" approach... use neem oil... as that will help build fungal comunties that prevent future issues.


always remember the plant health pyramid, biochemical sequence of nutrition, etc etc.. :grin:

can you grow any kind of fruit or veggies you want?

I like to grow water melons in the summer. we have a rare hybrid melon called a "star melon" that is a water melon but it so green its black with white specs make it look like stars. the meat inside is yellow and the taste is mind blowing!!

this is a star melon and they sell for about 10 US each ..

will do JM .. watermelons are just a cash crop as long as you have the land to grow them plus the water. they grow fast and in the hot Spain summer those beech goers" will be very thirsty! They cost 5 dollars each in the states..

I have ordered a Neem tree..it will come January.
With Land..I might as well grow/produce me own.

I also intend having an orangery..or mixed citrus grove.
The orange oil I made from the skins last year actually stopped red spider in its tracks...without any plant damage.

Anything that kills red spider is a Friend of mine.

I'll Experiment with it more..I only tried it on my buddahs hand..I'll extend the trials until I get it right.

Also my polytunnel book recommends a Garlic spray once a week..I may need an alternative until my neem tree grows.

Some of my seed has to be posted to the UK...so I'll make a comprehensive list when I get them all.
I ordered so much stuff I can't remember what I got.

My total spend on seed was less than £100 including my Christmas vouchers..and I want to multiply that this year into enough to populate the outer field...:grin:

Because of the UK Love of Thai curries..and the fact you just cannot get the makings here..
I've ordered a kaffir lime tree..lemon grass seed and Thai chillies.

That is the one "Set" I can remember.

Yeah The Elvis..I can grow anything I want......"pher Wiggle"...

There is no point growing what everybody else is growing..so I am going for the Unusual stuff.

Also..with chillies tomatoes herbs I don't need to have an Instant market..I can sun dry everything...:thumbs:
 
Yes..a big thing The Elvis....:thumbs:..but I ain't ever seen a Yellow fleshed one..Ever...
